The champagne. Her father had been hoarding the Brut only to be taken out from the elusive alcohol cabinet for when one of his kids got married. Needless to say, the champagne bottle had a thick layer of dust on it probably from the 80s.
Take your pick. Basically everything at the wedding – new wedding gown, new fascinator, new shoes, new outfits for everyone in the wedding party, new place settings, new crystal goblets, new cutleries, new plates, new…and the list goes on.
The wedding car. From her dad’s building contractor who was facing financial difficulties and was all too happy to loan out his car. He even offered a 10% discount.
The MOH. After she discovered that MOH also stood for Manager of Heck-all-everything-that-will-and-can-go-wrong-at-the-wedding.
